I can’t tell you how profoundly your response has impacted me. I understand and agree with your feelings of anger and resentment towards white people. I am grateful you shared your feelings with me, and if it means anything to you I just want you to know that you are heard. I don’t think you should apologize for what you call your “hate, cutting words, and divisive spirit.” To me, those seem like appropriate responses to what you have endured. And I don’t believe they are permanent states either. Thank you for witnessing my pain. I wish you peace and love.
