I agree and believe our nostalgia as children of the 90s is different than previous generations. When we look back, it is not only longing for our youth but with horror at the experiences that read anew without the veils of misogyny and racism and heterosexism, etc. obscuring our memories. When watching Kid90 I felt like I gained a deeper understanding of how the culture, especially the party culture of the 90s, influenced so much of my thinking and behavior at the time. Great piece.
